"I'm very much Intrigued.."

submission: ]AM[ Intrigued

A great piece of work after your long hiatus. The beginning succeeds greatly in grasping the attention of the listener, making them truly wonder just what to expect. Upon the melody's beginning, it's as if you're pulled into a retelling of Braveheart, only hundreds of years in the future. As the song continues, so does the story..

My rating stems from many different things, but most of all the effort you've put into multiple versions of this work and what it has become. Your songs are continuing to improve, and with each work you set out for us to see that becomes more and more apparent.

Though, I think your next work should be something completely original.. something entirely your own. Explore your mind, put forth the sounds that you hear in your head. Blow us away with a compilation of fantastic sound and grace. I know it's in you.

I can't wait for the next production. 5/5, 10/10.

Kindred (Super Metroid)

"Breathtaking.. Miraculous.."

date: March 14, 2009

Listening to this brought me back to when I was much younger, playing Super Metroid into the long hours of the night.. Your piece swept over me, bringing me into the depths of planet Zebes, treading cautiously in a power suit of my own through the underwater cavernous maze of Maridia in search of the Mother Brain.. I saw everything.. The various creatures encountered, the waterlogged structures and plant life, searching with diligence, and yet, so much caution as I didn't know just what I was going to see next..

A song like this is a rarity, and absolute treasure than cannot go unnoticed when found.. It's now just as much a part of my life as breathing. You have my utmost thanks for creating such a work, and I hope to hear more from you in the future.. 10/10 and 5/5.

His World (Remix)

"How invigorating.."

submission: His World (Remix)

Your work brings the listener into the world of Sonic The Hedgehog from the very beginning.. As the song begins, I can envision myself standing alone with my rival, exchanging words of prior engagement as each of us vies to use the power of the Chaos Emeralds we've acquired to decide whether or not this world is worth saving.. and at the 42 second mark, the deciding battle begins..

Superbly done, and I'm sure many avid fans of Sonic would agree. For the others out there who fall into the songs they listen to and become part of it as we listen, you've just provided another astonishing instance to envision. You have my thanks. I wish you the absolute best with your future works, and I look forward to hearing your next piece.

10/10, 5/5, and downloaded.

Rose At Twilight

"My first review in a long while..."

submission: Rose At Twilight
date: December 27, 2008

It's been far too long since I last reviewed a piece from the portal... And it just so happens to be your work that brought me out of my hiatus... Entitled with the recommendation I offered you so long ago... I'm truly honored.

And once again, you've done everything except disappoint myself and your numerous other listeners I'm sure. Once the melody hits your ears, you close your eyes and envision yourself and your friends battling the final adversary, performing your special moves, hitting the games' final boss for unheard of amounts of damage. The hairs on your body come to a stand and you inhale deep as the time continues to count down, the sky ablaze with the magics of the planet, the fate of that world resting in your hands alone... can you save it in time? Will you...?

Another utterly amazing track... I certainly hope the Rose saga continues further... you have my thanks once again. I'll eagerly be awaiting your next work.

"You've done it again my friend."

date: July 10, 2008

This track is perfect for a fast paced battle of any sort. From the get go the listener is on their toes, and once the song gets into it, let the fight go on. Whether it's a heated gunfight between one man an an onslaught of enemies, or a screamingly fast exchange of sword mechanics, it can relate flawlessly. What a spectacle. Closing your eyes and putting yourself into the position as the protagonist makes it that much better.

The powerful beat gets under the skin so quickly, it's hard not to love something like this. I've waited, and you've delivered. You have my gratitude.

This is just more proof of your excellence. Deeper Inside the Cave removed all stress and worry from my mind. This song was meant to uplift the listener, and it does on every level imaginable.

The outstanding buildup leads into the absolutely gorgeous melody. It can overtake even the most resilient toward this genre of music, which is incredibly difficult to do.

I was swept away, and I loved every moment of it. You have my utmost best to you and your future works. I'll be w

"Incredible..."

date: July 10, 2008

You weren't kidding at all with "professional" as your adjective to describe your work.. I can't bring myself to disagree. When I listen to this I let everything else around me just fade away. This is all that matters. The power music has on the listener.. it's just indescribable.

Your piece takes me to a vast metropolis somewhere in the distant future.. I never want to leave it..

Top scored and downloaded my friend. You have my best wishes in searching for a label. Don't let anyone or anything end your journey.. your work needs to be shared with the commonality.

Rose At Nightfall

"Your work touches my very soul."

submission: Rose At Nightfall
date: July 7, 2008

The Rose Series in its entirety just grants power.. Power so strong one feels like they can single handedly take on the world, or save it..

I find it difficult to gather words at this point. I'm infatuated. Flawlessly scored, downloaded, and now a part of my life as much of your work has become.

I hope for another Rose.. At Twilight perhaps.. You hold the key to the door.

Author's Response:

Hi!

I'm really glad you like the Rose "series"... lol, it's kind of weird to think I have my own music series now, gotta get used to the idea of that XD

I'm really happy the song moved you on so many levels! :)
And.. Rose at Twilight sounds like an AWESOME title! I will DEFINITELY keep that one in the back of my head!

"Phenominal."

Your piece told me a story.

I caught a glimpse into the life of a young couple. They each love one another dearly and live together in a large metropolis somewhere. On this particular night however, it's raining steadily and they're both in their apartment having an argument over the sudden financial problems they're faced with. The girl is in a panic, and the boy is giving his best effort in trying to put her mind at ease, reassuring her that everything will work out. Additionally, in the back of his mind he feels the time is nearing to ask her the question.. the one which ties the knot between them.

The girl doesn't want to hear his attempts at comforting her anymore, and she asks him to be alone. The boy stands in awe of her request, his heart sinks at her words, and he turns to get his coat which he puts on as he exits the door. The girl curls up on the couch and puts her hand to her mouth, closing her eyes as they begin to water.

The boy exits the apartment building where they live and begins his solemn walk in the rain, the coat he wears barely offering any kind of relief from the weather. He doesn't look upward as his clothes begin to soak and weigh him down, he stares downward, sorting out the thoughts in his mind. He can understand her worry, and he understands she needs the time to herself. His heart is revitalized when he thinks of her in a wedding dress, and he smiles as he paces forward.

In the apartment, the girl wipes her eye and bites her lip when she replays her response to his actions in her mind. She feels terrible and comes to the epiphany that he followed her wish out of what he feels for her, love. She replays different occurrences from their time together, where the normal man would discard the relationship for another. She then remembers how the boy would react.. he would return. She quickly runs to the window to look out upon the city, then down below at the sidewalk to witness her love coming back to her, and she smiles.

The boy stops in his tracks when he feels a sudden warmth. He looks upward at the building, and sees the silhouette of the girl he loves. He know the time is right to ask.

10/10, 5/5, and downloaded. Thank you.

"Anything but elevator music."

submission: Electrolift
date: June 10, 2008

It sounds like it could be used in a film, as a scientist approaches his laboratory contemplating just how he should piece together his newest creation to be of most use to the world in which he resides. I envision him slowly working through the fine points of construction, testing, and researching his results until it finally meets his standards. In summary, you've created a wonderfully hypnotic work. 5/5, 10/10, and downloaded.

Author's Response:

Wow, it's that kind of comment that really sells me on a song. I was a bit ambiguous about this one. In fact, working on it this afternoon, I thought to myself, "This sounds like something people in the future would play on their elevators," hence the name and description. But you've painted quite the image for me now. Thanks very much for the awesome review!
